NEWS: David Wells named "Minnesota Artist of the Year" by TOSCA magazine of arts & culture in the Twin Cities (Spring 2014 issue). 

Original acrylic and ink abstract artworks are created on paper, tile, wood, art board (gessobord) or canvas. These artworks are one-of-a-kind and have been described as an experience in color, energy and motion.

Send an email or visit --The studio is located in Saint Paul, Minnesota and is open on the first Friday of most months, during the St. Paul Spring Art Crawl (April), the Fall Art Crawl (October) and also by appointment. The location is Studio 300 in the JAX Building, 253 4th Street East, Saint Paul Minnesota 55101 - within the area known as Lowertown St. Paul.

The Jax Building is located a block west of the Farmers' Market, and a block east of the Union Depot Green Line (light rail) stop. View a map of the area including parking locations. 

Children and adults can have fun in an art workshop taught by the artist David Wells, and the abstract art they create is theirs to take home. Visit the workshop page for details and a flyer.
